There is absolutely zero evidence of anything other than him being shot in the ear, but that doesn't stop our FBI from pushing a conspiracy theory when it comes to Trump!
Of course it was the FBI that pushed the Russian collusion lie, even as they knew that there was no evidence at all that it was true. They pushed many others smaller conspiracies as well. Too many to list. Why our FBI so interested in Anti-Trump conspiracies seems to be an serious question that should be asked.
But this one is out to lunch. Wray suggested that it was possibly shrapnel that hit Trump's ear, rather than a bullet. Shrapnel is created when the bullet hits something else, then breaks apart or hits something that then scatters and can cause damage. There is literally no evidence that anything other than people were hit by the few bullets shot by the shooter. Moreover, the angle of the shooter in regards to Trump and the firefighter who was killed has as a matter of geometry been shown to be the same bullet. What evidence does Wray have that it was not? Well the same evidence that Rachel Maddow and other media conspiracy theorists are pushing. In other words, nothing.
Why does Wray provide this sort of suggestion as head of the FBI when there is no evidence of his suggestion? Well to give credence to the conspiracy theory, of course, making it more believable for the gullible liberals who want desperately to believe that Trump was not shot.

Trump would give him an earful but obviously he can't.
