Willis ain't gonna testify no more!

Apparently the "state" has no further questions, so that is that?

What I find most interesting is that there were actually some on the left who believed she did well. Even Turley suggested she "got away with things".

I think the concept is that she "controlled" the courtroom by refusing to answer questions, talking over the judge, and attacking everyone else and pretty much getting away with it. However, this was not about controlling the courtroom in a trial or impressing a jury. This is about one Judge, how this looks to other investigations that are opening up on her, and how it played to the public.

The Judge (who once worked under Fani) may be too intimidated to make a strong ruling here. That being said, he has to realize that while he can shut this down to a two day hearing, the state congress, the state bar, as well as potentially the AG all will or may be investigating Fani and her antics simultaneously as this case progresses. The Judge can only control what he can control and he must consider the dynamics of how it will look if more proof comes forward about improprieties and lies and he allowed her to remain as lead counsel.

In other words, he cannot just allow them to continue based on some technicality or semantic argument that not enough "proof" was presented. He must actually be convinced that they are either telling the truth or that no other witnesses or evidence is going to come forward between now and the end of the trial to prove that Willis and Wade were lying.

I thinks most of what they told the court yesterday was an obvious lie, but then that is me.

  • I don't believe that this relationship started when they say it did, because it otherwise makes no sense why Willis would have trusted a civil attorney with no relative experience to run this case.

  • I don't believe their explanation as to why the relationship was hidden. I also do not believe that neither Willis or Wade understood that this sort of relationship needed to be reported.

  • I don't believe they were ignorant of why they should have been disclosing and reporting plane tickets, hotels, and such that was being paid for by a contractor for the employer. These are simple issues that I am aware of because my company makes me go through this sort of training twice a year. Having a contractor pay for a trip to Aruba would have been one of those examples provided of things we cannot do. If I understand this, certainly two attorneys would.

  • Lastly, I certainly do not believe that Willis reimbursed Wade with untraceable cash payments. That would make no sense unless they were still trying to hide things rather than avoid the potential problems of gift giving between employers and their contractors.

Perhaps this is going to be one of those "Black" vs "everyone else" things where only Black people will believe and understand why all of these things make sense. Some have already suggested that it is a "Black thing" to keep large amounts of cash around the house. But this make zero sense for a white collar person in 2024. I dare you to try to pay your mortgage or rent or credit card bills or car bills or any other bills with "cash". Moreover, I dare you to take $15 and take it to the bank to deposit so you can start to pay those bills. The only thing having $15K sitting around your house does it makes you a target for someone to come take if from you.

And we're completely mystified as to why.

Time to re-read The Bell Curve.

Fatass Fani needs her own reality show - The Ghetto Whores of the ATL.

Between Fani Willis, Tish James, Claudine Gay, Sherri Charleston (also Harvard) , Kamala Harris, Barbara Lee proposing $50/hr min wage this week, and Sheryl Swoops falsely smearing Caitlin Clark this week, black women are having a bad 2024.
