Will these guys be given jail time?

They should be charged with illegal entrance and refusal to leave the Capital building, parading (as the man has a sign), as well as obstruction for not allowing McCarthy access to his own office...

Interesting that a group of liberals would storm the Capital complex and refuse to leave, when we all know that Liberals believe that storming the Capital complex is akin to terrorism?

Well, we actually know (as do the liberals) that there are two tiers of Justice in Washington D.C. One for Conservatives (where you spend 52 months in prison for sitting in Nancy Pelosi's chair), and another for sitting on the floor in Kevin McCarthy's office (where justice would be lucky to see these people sentenced to anything other than a citation and a small fine).

Now certainly it is not as cut and dried as two different people of different political affiliations doing the same basic thing. Apparently the man in the hat had a fake stun gun that did not work in a pocket, so perhaps that is one difference.

But lets not forget that people on Jan 6th were hunted down like dogs and given actual jail time for holding signs. These are conservatives who were not "in" the Capital complex but rather just too close to the Capital complex. Meaning they were outside, never entered, were not violent, but spent time in jail nonetheless. How can you justify sending a perfectly peaceful protester with a sign to jail for on the capital grounds, but let someone else go who is holding a sign in a Congressional office?

Not sure... but they will come up with a reason. Of course, if I am one of these protesters I would simply ask for a trial. In D.C. all you need to do is say you vote Democrat and you will be found not guilty in less time than it takes for a normal jury to elect a foreperson.
