Will Platner make it to July 13th?

Latest polling suggests he may end up losing to Collins...
July 13th is the last day that Platner can drop out of the race and Democrats can still replace him on the ballot... at least that is what the law says. Whether or not they might still try if he hangs on after that is another story.
But the latest polling shows the race within the margin of error and at least one poll is showing him behind. Given Collin's historical ability to overperform the polling (in some cases by well over double digits) it seems like the Democrat's changes to win with this guy is slipping away.
But he is the new face of the Democratic Party. He is an antisemite. He has accomplished nothing of any sort. He demands he is a socialist who hates anyone who makes more money than him. That is epitome of the current DSA (Democratic Socialist of America) which is dominating the Party as of late. While they may not want to lose this Maine seat, the idea of replacing a popular person with another establishment Democrat would drive many of these DSA people stark raving mad.
The ultimate irony here is that Collins is an establishment democrat who simply refuses to give up her official party designation for reasons that I'll never understand.
I wish my dad was still alive since he worked at the Hotchkiss School when Platner was reportedly enrolled there. I'd love to ask if Platner was as big of an asshole then as he is now.
