Why would the man dropping out allow his team to make the following statements?

"Our campaign is not working through any scenarios where President Biden is not at the top of the ticket. He is and will be the Democratic nominee."

"the president has said it several times. He’s staying in this race. We look forward to him accepting the [nomination of the] delegates in Chicago and continuing with this race to talk about what’s at stake."

There was also an attack on Obama and his gang as they suggested that it was the same Party establishment trying to push him aside today that pushed him aside for Hillary in 2016.

“Can we all just remember for a minute that these same people who are trying to push Joe Biden out are the same people who literally gave us all Donald Trump? In 2015, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer pushed Biden aside in favor of Hillary; they were wrong then, and they are wrong now,”

Both of these statements came out today, which of course is the same day that the rumor mill has been turned up to 11 and where everyone and their brother has an inside track on Joe Biden imminent weekend resignation. Doesn't sound like Schumer had much of an affect on Biden last weekend when he personally came to see Biden and tried to convince him to drop out.... you know, for the country. His name was included on those turncoats who gave Trump the 2016 Presidency because (in their mind) they passed him over for Hillary. I guess it would make some sense that this might remind some of the Biden inner circle of how he got pushed aside in 2016 as well. Who knows, he might have even beaten Trump. Many believed Hillary was the only candidate that Trump could have beaten that year.

Meanwhile, people have pointed out that none of the Biden inner circle and campaign team have made any plans to go to Delaware and that even Hunter is not expected to be with the President over the weekend. Does anyone really expect Joe is going to call a press conferences from Delaware this weekend while recovering from Covid without his team or family, just to appease his haters and resign from the race on their time table??

Again.. call me skeptical. It doesn't sound like it to me.
