Why the plea deal fell apart in the simplest terms

Noreika didn’t have to do much: just ask Hunter Biden’s defense lawyers and the Biden Justice Department prosecutors what, exactly, they had agreed to. The Biden Justice Department didn’t dare say that publicly, so the sweetheart deal went up in smoke.

McCarthy hits the nail right on the head here. There was a wink wink nod nod you know what I am saying sort of side deal that the DOJ and Biden attorneys believed they could pass by the Judge using the tried and true strategy of refusing to answer questions.

Problem is that the Judge in this case held more cards than a congressman asking questions during a hearing or a reporter asking a spokesperson. When the powers to be gave it the old "we cannot discuss an ongoing investigation" the judge simply said "well then I cannot approve your deal". This was the perfect response from a legal, logical, and political standpoint. There is no reason that someone who is currently under investigation should be given a plea deal that provides protection from things the state might find in the future, when the deal provides for no real consequences for the person who is being provided protection.

We will give you no jail time for your felony crimes... and in exchange we will agree to not prosecute you for anything else we might find in the future? What honest prosecutor believes this is a good deal for their client (the Federal Government). The answer is that no "honest" prosecutor would believe this. This was Biden being handed everything on a silver platter and then being told he can keep the silver platter as well.

One good thing here is that by creating this separate tax and gun charge that was supposed to put an end to all of the rest of it, they have undermined the idea of running out the clock on the statute of limitations on those tax crimes. The second thing that came out of this (and I am sure the DOJ is not happy about it) is that they had to admit to the Judge that FARA laws were broken and that charges for that are still on the table. We know full well from the Manafort prosecution that the DOJ now finds FARA violations to be similar to mass murder in the first degree with the intent to do extra harm.

Now the questions becomes what is next? Things are not going to get any better for Biden here as more and more evidence of corruption comes out regarding the Biden crime syndicate. This was certainly their best shot to make this disappear. But now the precedent has been set and they will need to come up with a more transparent view of where they are actually at with their investigations and what the underlying conditions are of the plea. Will this or any other Judge actually trust these two parties moving forward? Doubtful.

The DOJ lawyers and Hunter's lawyers have always been on the same side of the deal, thinking they could slip the whole thing past the goalie - the judge. Collusion writ large.

What's next?

It doesn't matter. However this is adjudicated, feeble fuckwit Joey Shits-Pants pardons the crackhead piece of shit the next day.

This is how truly fucked up our nation has become thanks to the democrats -

Meanwhile Trump is looking at even more indictments. I don't want him back, but this is out of control.
