Why is the Biden Administration negotiating with Hamas for a ceasefire?

While ignoring Israel and their leadership pretty much all together?

Seems odd that we would NOT work hand in hand with our only true Democratic ally in the area, doesn't it? It seems even odder that we are attempting to negotiate in good faith with a terrorist organizations who openly holds the long term goal of wiping out Israel and all of their citizens.

But that appears to be exactly what we are doing. We have a half-wit negotiating with a terrorist organization, and we are supposed to just watch it all happen and give it our full throttle blessing!
