When all else fails, just lie a little harder!

Desperate Democrats now insisting Donald Trump ordered a terrorist attack on Jan 6th.

Last polls on the subject of Jan 6th is showing that a fairly significant majority of Americans now see Jan 6th as a protest/riot that went too far. The only true investigation into the events (done by the FBI) found no coordinated effort by anyone on January 6th to do anything other than protest.

The numbers suggest that not only was January 6th little more than a protest/riot, but that it caused about 10% of the damages done by protesters who falsely believed that Trump stole the election in 2017. In January of 2017, several Capital police officers were sent to the emergency room due to attacks by citizens, and people who wanted to prevent the electoral college votes from being counted in favor of Donald Trump were arrested after actually getting all the way to the counting. January 6th, by contrast saw no emergency room visits and just a large list of "bumps and bruises" by officers who our media has suggested were more emotionally traumatized than physically injured. Despite claims of such, nobody actually hunted down anyone who was doing any counting in 2021.

So even as they are losing the argument about January 6th, Democrats seem to be doubling down on the rhetoric. I guess if calling it an insurrection without any evidence was not enough. They now want to call American citizens who did little more than exercise their 1st Amendment right to protest... terrorists!

This, of course, are the same people who demand that they are attempting to save democracy.
