What's worse? Harris not doing any interviews or Harris doing the interviews she has done?

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle has been attacked by all sides for her failures to get any answers from Harris at all

The latest attack came from an unlikely suspect, the New York Times? They suggested that the Harris interviews are only to say that she is doing them, that the Harris team is not agreeing to do any interviews with anyone who would challenger her, and that she has yet to provide the answers people want from these interviews. I don't see how anyone can disagree with this.

Shortly after her first interview with Tim Walz at her side, there was a chorus of calls from the left to just put all of this silly interview stuff behind us. After all, she had done the interview, not shut up about it. Of course that interview was probably a net negative for Harris just due to the negative feedback on the softball nature of the interview. Now this last interview has been literally mocked by people for the same reasons. Now Ruhle is making the rounds having to defend the fact that she didn't get any answers from Harris. Apparently she had no idea that not doing so would cause her any grief, but obviously she was wrong.

Ruhle's line of defense here is that Harris is just being a politician by not answering questions with specific answers. All politicians in her mind speak in platitudes rather than specifics, so people should give both Ruhle and Harris a break here. The problem, of course, is that Harris is nearly unknown, running for the Presidency, and if you put a gun to most anyone's head, they could not tell you what they believe she might do if she actually wins the election.

She isn't providing enough specifics to really break the idea of who she has been in her past. She is suggesting/hinting, however, that she is no longer the far left California liberal crusader who wants to pass a green new deal, defund the police, raise taxes on everyone, and provide gender affirming care for detained illegals. She now wants us to believe she is a moderate to even conservative politician who is more interested in jobs, economy, and being tough on the border. But she will not promise any specific policy proposals to back it up, or even really say anything of substance to anyone that could be construed as a policy proposal. You ask her how she will create more jobs, and she will tell you about her middle class upbringing.

But somehow there are people out there who don't seem to think that should matter. Let's just make sure the bad orange man does not become President again and let's make sure of that at any cost.
