What's the deal with Tucker Carlson?

I thought him leaving FOX might be a good thing for him, but it exposed that he is likely a bit more crazy than one might have expected.

There is a side to Tucker Carlson that is inescapably positive. When you hear him speak at an event like the Charlie Kirk funeral, you remember why he was considered such a great political thinker. Then he escaped the grasp of FOX news and turned into something of an anti-semetic conspiracy theorist. Or at least that is what you are hearing. The fact that he didn't understand the negative concept of pretending Nick Fuentes is a legitimate political figure who deserves a forum, really makes me curious where his head is.
In politics, both sides criticize those with the most extreme views. Generally both sides like to put a little space between themselves and the extremes of their Party. So when someone like Tucker decides that Nick Fuentes (someone who attacked Charlie Kirk for accepting the LGB portion of the alphabet gang) is worthy of a forum, then it makes you wonder if Tucker is someone who needs to be pushed outside in that same way. I have to admit that after listening to a few of Tuckers podcasts (or whatever they are) early on, I have shied away from him recently as he has become somewhat anti-semetic and full of conspiracy theories. Obviously the war in Gaza has expose many people as being anti-semetic. Unfortunately for all, this exposure is happening on both sides of the aisle. As for the conspiracies... I guess that can be little more than click bait for someone who now relies on clicks rather than FOX for his paycheck. Either way, it would seem that new Tucker Carlson is likely the same as the old, but that the old was tempered by the fact that he worked under someone else's rules. That can be both a bad thing or a good thing, depending. You can judge this one for yourself.
Tucker defending himself against a most recent vocal attacker:

I've only watched the first 15+ minutes or so but he doesn't look like a crazed antisemitic lunatic to me. I think his points are valid and should at least be openly addressed.

GO DAWGS! I want some burnt orange ass
I find Tucker fascinating and very relevant. I find the attacks on him for being antisemitic ridiculous in the same vein as those who yell out "racist". He is America first and doesn't support most foreign aid, even if it is for Israel which he visits and loves and has said so, even recently. I do find some of his content silly but not frequently.
Here's a relatively short podcast from this week, something you won't find on network news. I can see why he is being attacked, he must be over the correct target:
