Well it is Veterans day...

A whole day set aside for people who served our country.

If it was something important, like being sexually different, then you might get a whole month. I hear Democrats are thinking about a bill that would change Veterans day to Veteran's hour, which would start at 4:00 AM EST and end at 5:00 AM EST. They figure they don't deserve a whole day, but perhaps they still deserve an hour.
