IDF commander to troops: “We will fight in alleys, we will fight in tunnels, we will fight wherever necessary. We will eliminate the abominable enemy before whom we stand.”
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continued to destroy terrorist infrastructure and eliminate Hamas leadership as the ground operation in Gaza entered its fifth day.
“Hundreds of Hamas military targets were destroyed and many terrorists have been killed by the IDF over the past 24 hours, the IDF announced on Tuesday morning,” the Jerusalem Post reported. “Some 300 targets were attacked, including anti-tank missile and rocket-launching positions, Hamas tunnels, and military installations, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced.”
I for one am rooting for the Israelis to continue to push the envelope and not to cave into pressure from other people who are not sitting around watching their country be attacked over and over and over and over. I know my neighborhood has never been bombed and those who sit over here in the freedom of America and judge the Israelis have also never been part of a war zone. Sort of one of those times you just shut your trap and let those who are under attack defend themself. Oh and yes, sometimes defending yourself means going o the offensive rather than just sitting back and taking the blows.
There is no good logical rational reasoning for someone to just suggest that an entire nation must endure constant terror attacks and not do anything about it. This has been going on for as long as anyone can remember and will continue as long as their is a Hamas (or groups like that) in existence. You really have to be emotionally unstable or otherwise hateful of Jews to suggest that they just need to accept being a punching bag for the Palestinians. These are two groups of people who should be equal in the eyes of the international community. There is no place on this planet where we just accept the idea that countries cannot defend their own borders other than as it has to do with Israel. They are the exception to the rule here and with no logical manner to explain it.
