Want a good example of what our larger problems are in modern society?

This is how our college students (and many others) think

“I have found it increasingly difficult to know my place as a biracial brown woman, especially during these highly volatile times. I have felt more and more frustrated about the time we currently find ourselves in, and misplaced that anger into actions that are not an accurate representation of who I am as a person.”

This is a quote from a girl who confessed to tearing down posters showing the Israeli Hostages taken from their homes by Hamas terrorists. Turley has a column about this event yesterday:

“Today, we witnessed 2 NYU students violently tearing down posters of kidnapped babies, mothers, and grandmothers hanging outside of NYU Buildings. This was done in a laughing manner, exhibiting complete disregard for Jewish lives and Jewish safety.”

Many are calling this a racial thing, and it certainly is. But the part I find most troublesome is the statement suggesting that somehow this person believes that her "place in society" is somehow tied to her racial makeup. That rather than just fit into a society where people are just people, that she must "learn" how to act as a biracial brown person, not just as a person.

If feels like this is simply an excuse to be racist, to be judgmental, and to walk around with a chip on her shoulder. Imagine growing up in the 60s and 70's as I did and then going to college where I tell people that I am trying to figure out how I fit into society as a blond haired blue eyed white male. I would have been carted off to an institution for psychological evaluation and for good reason.

But this is the world of liberal identity politics. And oh boy have they ever unleased the ultimate political Frankenstein monster here. When someone looks at a poster of people abducted by terrorists. Innocent women and children taken from their homes. Then decides that the color of their own skin demands that they tear it down while laughing because that is their place in society. Well boys and girls... we have a problem.

Unfortunately this is not only encourages by the left, but it is literally being taught in our schools. If someone calls them out, then they are shunned, cancelled, attacked and called a racist. Perhaps this behavior by these anti-Semites will be a turning point here in society. This exposes the entire identity politics issue for what is it. Teaching people to be racist and hate.
