Walz being America's coach is even a deception

Walz was a defensive coordinator for my old High School team...

The original rollout of Walz's coaching tenure at Mankato West was that the team had lost twenty some straight games. Then Walz took over and coached them to a State Championship.

While it is true that the mighty Scarlets had struggled, the turnaround probably had very little to do with Walz. To begin with, Walz was not even the head coach. He was the defensive coordinator. Secondly, the West Scarlets gained a reputation of becoming a quarterback factory as several of their quarterbacks over the years went on to division one colleges. Not sure how the defensive coordinator assists with that.

But speaking of divisions, the main reason why the Scarlets went from winless to state champions was the fact that due to enrollment, they were dropped from the "big school" division and started playing schools with similar enrollments. When my brother and I were in high school we had two divisions (AA & A). Last time I checked there were seven divisions in Minnesota football, including a 9 man league for the smallest of schools. The Scarlets have been playing in the AAAA division which means there are two higher divisions.

Btw... Walz also was a coach at a previous school and lost that position after his DUI that he claimed falsely was just him failing a field sobriety test because of hearing loss. Funny how fact checkers claim that Walz lost a coaching job because of his DUI is deemed false, because while he may have lost a coaching job, it wasn't the coaching job he is being revered for. That same fact checker suggested the "Walz claimed he carried a weapon into combat" attack has been "debunked" because a Walz spokesperson suggested he had just "misspoke".

You cannot hate the media enough.
