Virginia police call on Jay Jones to drop out of race.

Democrats are still acting as if his idea about Cops and Republican children dying is a reason to voting for him, not a reason to vote against him.

Excuse me, do you have any young Republican children at home I could murder?

Circling the wagons is one of those deals that takes place when you have no other options. Apparently it is technically too late for Jay Jones to drop out and be replaced, so they have determined to double down on the concept that it is okay to murder political opponents or wish for cops to be shot in the line of duty. Otherwise they basically concede this particular race.

Now at question is whether or not the fairly blue state of Virginia will vote for the top law enforcement person in the state to be someone who wants to see more cops killed and believes it is okay to wish for the deaths of political opponents. Sadly, it appears that Jones is still favored to win. I would guess that if he went out tomorrow and literally murdered a conservative child, that he may still not lose enough support to lose this race.

Meanwhile Democrats are all in on defending Jones in any way they can. Will that affect their brand? Sadly, probably not anymore.
