Fourteen students suspended and four arrested after a "sit in" in the chancellors office which was closed for construction.
So this starts with some antisemite students attempting to pass a student resolution that would force the University to stop doing business with anyone that they believe is complicit with the Israeli "occupation" of Palestine.
The school refused to allow a vote on the resolution as the concept is against various laws and would not be allowed given their reliance on federal and state funding to run the school. This angered the snowflake students (of course) and they decided to take action.
About 30 students pushed their way inside the small building that was currently under construction, while another 30 or so protested outside. They apparently chastised a couple of black officers, demanding that they did not understand how to stand with other marginalized groups. Imagine. White children college students explaining life to an adult police officer.
Anyways, they vowed to stay in the building as long as it took, or at least until they got thirsty, hungry, or needed to use a restroom. It lasted a full 22 hours. At one point, a girl asked to leave to use a restroom to change a tampon. She apparently thought she should be allowed to leave and then just come back. She was told she would be immediately detained if she left and then attempted to come back. The students called 911 on the officers who threated her arrest. I wonder out loud how that conversation went.
This is apparently what our current crop of college students look like. God help us!
