USSC overrules Virginia judge and allows then to remove non-citizens

The Virginia judge had ruled that it was too close to the election to remove them

There are rules against purging voters from the system too close to an election. If you are looking to purge the voter rolls because you believe someone has moved or even passed away, you cannot do so within so many days of an election. I can why that might make sense.

But in the case of removing non-citizens, there should not be any law that says you must let someone else break the law because it is too close to an election. This is the sort of partisan nonsense we see in our court system today. It seems obvious to me that there is a difference between suggesting that you remove a voter because you cannot confirm that the voter still lives and is eligible to vote versus removing someone you know for a fact is not a citizen. This ruling will affect something in the area of 1500-2000 non-citizens or so. While they may not have affected the Virginia election, there is a principal involved here.
