U.K. on board with Iran bombing!

Keir Starmer backs US strike on Iran and calls for Tehran to return to talks.

This needs to be the consistent message here. The strikes were justified based on a complete lack of cooperation from Iran and the dangers that a nuclear Iran poses to most of the western world. Now is not the time for escalation, but for negotiation.
Hopefully others around the globe will follow Starmer's lead here and jump on board with pressuring Iran to come back to the table.
Of course, you won't be hearing this from too many of our Democrats. Many are trying to pretend that Article II of the constitution and the Congressionally passed War Powers Act of 1973 do not actually exist, and that somehow Trump violated the constitution in bombing Iran. This argument is so stupid that only... well... only severely TDS infected people will buy into it.
My favorite response so far comes from Chuck Schumer who followed up his TACO statements about how Trump was going to "chicken out" as it pertained to possibly bombing Iran, to demanding it was an unconstitutional act when he proved him wrong. I will say that Fetterman did the right thing and simply congratulated the US military and thanked the President for taking the much-needed action. Obviously, we need more of that from others, but for the time being Trump can count on Isreal, the U.K. and other Republicans to back him up on this. My gut feeling is that the public will back this as well.
Meanwhile - file under you cannot hate the media enough:

Obviously, we have not entered any war here. But the idea here will be to try to "frame" the bombing as somehow an act of war that would somehow separate it from Obama bombing Libya, or other military acts taken by Presidents prior to any congressional authorization. This is also something that some in the media will try to spin in order to move public opinion. That being said, I doubt many are fooled by this anymore.

Or something like that.

My son’s GF’s family is from Fordo(w), she got a call thru yesterday and all are fine, I don’t know how to spell really huge explosions in Farsi.
I just hope the “Book of Mormon” which we are seeing this Sunday doesn’t trigger anything. Those South Park guys skewer ‘Mo and every other “savior”
Report: Khamenei is currently unreachable. Top Iranian officials including former President Hassan Rouhani, MP Ali Larijani, and former Justice Minister Sadeq Larijani are seeking his approval to begin direct talks with the United States but have failed to make contact.
A source told IranWire that only a small group has access to Khamenei. Ali Larijani, from a prominent clerical family, wants to position himself as a future leader after Khamenei, but his authority is weak since Khamenei disqualified him twice from running for president.
