Two thirds of Gazans support Oct 7th, support Hamas rule, and reject two state solution?

So the innocent civilians are largely not so innocent and are actually supporting what Hamas is doing.

If you are gong to elect and follow leaders who engage in international terrorism, then you have to accept the consequences of that terror and any retribution that is leveled. In this case, the loosely defined Hamas "government" declared war against Israel with their attack on October 7th. With any war, there are both military and civilian causalities. The fact that Hamas refuses in many cases to wear military uniforms and the fact that they hide specifically within civilian areas, does not mean that they cannot be attacked or that the people surrounding them should not be in danger. This is what you voted for and this is what you deserve.

Certainly there are Gazans not supportive of Hamas. Perhaps it is time for them to move out of the area or work harder to displace the terror group as the head of the Government. But in war, you cannot allow the lions share of the people to be given a pass, simply because there are a few who linger around them and probably do not deserve to be attacked.

At the end of the day, Hamas is like the little brother who constantly goes after his older brother and then expects mom and dad to protect him from any retribution. Israel, for all practical purposes is given the old "you are old enough to know better" routine from the UN and other international groups who want to protect the irritating little brother. Of course in this case the irritating little brother is not poking at the big brother, but is involved in murder and rape and large scale terror attacks. The equivalency here is mindbogglingly stupid.
