Turtle head McConnell retiring and not running for reelection

Since Kentucky has a Democratic Governor, it would not be in the GOP best interest for him to step down early.
Speaking of 300 year old vampires! It appears that our favorite wheelchair riding Midwestern Senator is hanging it up after over four decades in the Senate. It only seems like four centuries.
To put this in perspective, he was elected into the Senate at the same time Reagan was elected to a second term. I was still in college when he was first elected. I have held only five full time jobs since I graduated from college (which seems light by most regards) while he has had the same job all that time. Maybe that is the reason that he has started to turn into a turtle?

McConnell hasn't been running for a long time, Surprised he voted for Kash, If there had been a one other defection I'm sure he would have voted against. Good riddance, Reminds me, thank God Romney is no longer senator else Kash likely wouldn't be heading the FBI
