Currently sitting at 52.2% - just under his 52.5% RCP polling average...
DeSantis (20.3%) and Haley (18.9%) are running neck and neck for second place with Ramaswamy (7.7%) cruising into that coveted fourth place position.
DeSantis is beating poll expectations, but probably not by enough to keep him in the race. We might be expecting a press conference from the Florida Governor sometime this week talking about how he is bowing out. Whether he endorses Trump is another story.
Haley was thought to have momentum but will have to settle for third place. Her eye is on New Hampshire where she is expected to do much better. I don't think this result is enough for her to really move the needle in her favor.
Both DeSantis and Haley outspent Trump by wide margins in Iowa. Trump has this cavalier attitude where feels like all of this is a formality. Perhaps it is. Even if Haley can upend him in New Hampshire, where is her next victory? Trump knows this is a 50-state race and there are just too many Trump strongholds for someone like Haley to overcome.
