Trump will need to possibly beat several Democrats this year to win the Presidency back!
I suspect that the Democrats will rally around Harris just long enough to figure out that she is not actually polling much (if any) better than Biden. Then we can expect in Democratic fashion that they will pull another coup and push for an open convention.
I am back and forth on how the Trump campaign "should" respond now, but by all accounts they are going to move quickly to start attacking Harris. The idea being to "define" her before she gets a real chance to get out in front of it. The problem, of course, is that she is not the official candidate and if they knock her down early, the Democrats will just replace her as they did Biden, and it will be the game of whack a mole.
While most seem to be rallying around Harris, there are already some Democrats pushing for an open convention. This, of course, would leave less time for the general public to get to know someone obscure, which I believe is the point. They cannot win with anyone who has an established record in the Democratic Party, because that record is largely filled with liberal failures. Their best bet would be someone under the radar with a limited track record. Someone who could push ideas, rather than accomplishments. Still not sure they have anyone who will beat Trump right now, but they hate him so much that they will go to any lengths (including destroying Joe Biden and his legacy) for the small chance that they can.
No. Even Dan Goldman and AOC were just as outraged at her as the Republicans. No kidding. I was amazed.
Both parties are pissed as hell at Cheatle.
But for different reasons.
Democrats are pissed that she missed...
Watching the Cheatle hearing. Both parties are pissed as hell at Cheatle. They all actually agree on that.

And just think... all they have to do to "attack" her is to play her own clips, her greatest hits so to speak, crushingly burdened by what actually has been.
