But he is well ahead of where he was at four and eight years ago...
According to Real Clear Politics four years ago today Trump was down over ten points to Biden. Eight years ago today he was down about four and a half points to Hillary Clinton. Real Clear Politics currently has Trump him by just over two points which is not far off the just under two points I have him. This represents an astounding twelve and a half point swing in the polling since the 2020 race.
Moreover, he appears to be leading as expected by a higher percentage in most of the purple battleground states that will decide the election. One has to remember that he lost Georgia by two tenths of a percent, Arizona by three tenths of a percent, Wisconsin by four tenths, and Pennsylvania by seven tenths. It really won't take that much to change those four states which would give him more than enough electoral college votes to win.
Since the change in the census, the states that Biden won have lost three electoral college votes while the states Trump won have gained three. He currently has been polling at upper single digits in Georgia, which is one state that has passed laws that will undermine under penalty of criminal law any of the late night shenanigans that took place in 2020. Given most of the players who cheated in 2020 are long gone, I would venture a guess to say it will be a clean election in that state. He is currently well up in all of the states he won (North Carolina being the closest). So with the addition of the three electoral college votes and Georgia that puts in at 251 electoral college votes, leaving him less than twenty shy of the magic number of 270 (269 if you consider he would almost assuredly win a tiebreaker).
So that leaves him one or two states short of the Presidency. He currently holds genuine leads in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada. He is also running about even (if not a little ahead) in Wisconsin and Michigan. All he would need is either Pennsylvania or any number of other combinations to get to 269. Obviously things could change over the next few months and obviously either Trump or Biden or both could be forced out of the race, but for now it would appear that Biden holds and uphill battle if he wants to remain President.
Well this email said it all:
and even with all their cheating they still lost. Trump's biggest mistake was not going after her, it only emboldened them.
But she knew the many things she was guilty of.
