Trump garners financial windfall of nearly 4 billion dollars.

Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC) merger completed today and stock jumps to $50/share! Trump owns 58% stake in the company!

So a double whammy for liberals today:

• First, their fantasies about how the Manhattan courts and County Prosecutor would start to seize Trump's property starting this week crashed and burned.

• Now it looks like Trump's net worth shot up from under $100 million to nearly $4 billion in one day. This would put Trump back in the list of the worlds wealthiest people again. Being President has not been kind to his finances, but in one move, he seems to have come back out on top again.

Trump is not allowed to sell any of this stock for at least six months (although there is some suggestion that he might look for an exception to sell off a small portion for legal expenses). But there is little chance that either of the New York Civil Suits will end up where they started off. $80 million for a 30 year old claim and $450 million for fraud where nobody was defrauded are not the sort of numbers you expect to hold up under the scrutiny of appeal. If I had to guess, the E. Jean Carroll suit may end up being the higher of the two numbers when this is all said and done. At least a jury came up with those numbers rather than an angry old liberal judge.

Either way, these appeals could take several months to work through the system and it is more likely than not that Trump would be able to sell (or otherwise borrow against) his stake in DWAC prior to either of these cases running their collective courses.
