USSC upholds ban on TikTok and the ban will go into affect one day before Trump is sworn in

Whatever will the GenZ children do? Okay, that's not really fair. I guess lots of people watch TikTok (even my wife uses the app) and with 170 million Americans who frequent the app, their time is tick tock tick tock... coming to a close.
Now there are rumors that the app will continue to be available to those who have already downloaded and using it, but that there will be no ability to update or otherwise maintain it. The first bug or problem could destroy that option. Obviously it will not be available to new users.
The buzz was that the company was looking at cutting a deal with Elon Musk to buy the platform, but that might kill the application for many Americans who have recently turned on the former EV liberal since he has come out in support of Donald Trump. Many of these people would rather watch a grainy black and white television with reruns of PBS specials than associate themselves with the likes of Musk.
Trump has offered that he might be willing to come up with some sort of executive action to save the platform, which supposedly would work to secure some of the gains he has made with the younger generation. We'll see if this is prudent move understanding that Congress has passed the law and the USSC has upheld the law. This was not a USSC order, but basically a ruling that designated the law as justified and not unconstitutional. So while he would not necessarily be butting heads with the high court, some might still accuse him of such. Either way, I doubt it would be a day one executive action so for TikTok will likely be a banned platform for at least a while.
