So as many have suggested, Critical Race Theory is just that, a theory. You want to teach it, fine. But as with any unproven theory, you cannot demand that it is fact or teach it as if you expect all students to accept it. Teachers should accept that students might have different ideals and those ideals should also be heard without consequence from the teacher.
I have no problem with teaching children that there is such a thing as critical race theory and that some people believe it. Let the children decide for themselves if such beliefs are justified or proper.
Now I am sure that most teachers will not like the idea that they teach white kids that they are oppressors and those white kids can disagree without consequence. That being said, does anyone really believe that teachers will not provide consequences? I suspect teachers will push what they can. What it does, however, is open those teachers up to disciplinary measures or even lawsuits. It will only take one or two teachers being fired or sued by parents to get the point across.
