The rise and fall of alternative lifestyles self identification.

2 min read
The number of high school students who identified as part of the LBTQ+ community surged to 26% in 2021 only to drop to half of that in 2025.

To be clear, back in the day when studies were done to check people's physical reactions to certain sexual stimulus, it was found that around three to four percent of the population were sexually aroused by watching same sex behavior (regarding their own sex). In other words, ninety six percent of people (or more) were not attracted to sexually explicit pictures or movies that included people of their own sex within their own sex. So the idea that suddenly, over a quarter of the population is no longer heterosexual is not believable in any stretch of the imagination.

Now that is not to say that people wouldn't be more open in 2021 than in 1975 when it comes to expressing their sexuality. But there was never this many people "hiding" their sexuality. According to these recent surveys, a vast majority of those who claim to be part of the alternative lifestyles community had never engaged in any homosexual acts. Ironically, people of past generations (boomers, Gen X) were more likely to still consider themselves straight in spite of having some actual experience with homosexual activity. This about the difference between reality and identification.

There will be a variety of opinions on how this situation is unfolding, but the truth is that it's unlikely that thirteen percent of our high school students genuinely identify as gay, bisexual, or anything else, let alone over a quarter of them. These individuals are merely expressing themselves, and the idea is that by 2026, we are expected to accept whatever anyone claims or does, or face being labeled as bigots. This approach only works for a time and within certain groups, and eventually, these individuals will encounter people and circumstances where their "identities" are no longer of interest to anyone.

Bombshell report exposes healthcare fraud schemes as taxpayers lose up to $521 billion annually

While no estimate for Medicare and Medicaid fraud exists specifically, the report noted, a 2024 estimate by the Government Accountability Office said $233 billion to $521 billion taxpayer dollars going to federal programs are lost to fraud every year. Federal healthcare programs accounted for 24% of federal spending in 2024, according to the Center on Budget Policy and Priorities.

Well that is a good reason to push medicare for all when the cost of "actually" providing the service is 3 trillion a year. We would be pushing that to 4 or 5 trillion once the fraudsters are factored in.
