The media colludes with a description of major events, and this one was no exception.
The funniest part about this interview was the aftermath, where Baier explained to other Fox news personalities that there were about four different Harris aides there waving their hands, trying to get the interview to stop.
I was a bit suspicious of Brett Baier, as he has always been something of a never-Trumper. But he went after Harris full throttle, and even brought out clips of the parents of people killed by illegal migrants (to solidify the point of the border problems). She didn't seem prepared for that.
The other thing she was not prepared for was that Brett Baier continued to ask the questions she was trying to avoid answering. She kept wanting to go straight into her deflection that has worked so well in her more friendly environments. Baier was not having any of it. On the subject of immigration, she tried to deflect the problem back to a bill in Congress that she claims was undermined by Trump. But Baier continued to point out that the problem started when they undid all of the Trump administration border policies and not when a particular bill was killed off in congress. She kept wanting to talk about the bill and the bill alone. She seems to have one canned answer (deflection) for each of these issues and really seems to have no ability to improvise anything else.
On that subject, I wish someone someday would point out to Harris that part of being President would be to show the ability to sway congress on these particular bills. Her argument seems to be that Trump convinced congress that he was right about the bill being bad, while her administration was wrong. Why wasn't she more persuasive? Is she admitting that Trump out-persuaded her (and a sitting President) which would point to him being a more effective leader at getting his agenda passed?
But overall, Harris seemed shaken. She still tries to conceal her own beliefs, take both sides in some issues, and deflect blame every chance she gets with predetermined talking points. She was called on all three last night and had no real answers in return, only a desperate attempt to avoid answering anything and instead trying to deflect every on Trump.
The buzz from the left was that she "stood up to Baier" and offered criticism of Trump in what we now know was a "testy" interview.
It was a Freudian slip. Any chance they get to tax, even on brass.. they will take it!

Betting odds are now +17 for Trump. I can see why they are worried.
