Target was selling Satanic LGTBQ+ pride clothing?

Well there is going woke and then there is going stupid woke

This is definitely stupid woke and I am surprised that the CEO would openly come out and support this sort of nonsense. Now they obviously removed the satanic portions of their pride collection and have moved it to the back of the store in most locations. One way or the other it was right up front here last week when I went to the local Target in Seattle (technically Renton). But that could be just a Seattle thing. Obviously Pride is a big thing here.

But all of this was not before the CEO of Target suggested that going all in on LGBTQ+ was good for business and good for society. In fact the CEO sort of defended the Bud-light decision to go with the trans spokesperson even after pretty much everyone else has conceded the stupidity of the move. Not sure how well this bodes for Target moving forward. Target is based out of Minnesota and their clientele is mainly middle class people with families. If you haven't figured out that there is a fairly wide chasm growing between people with children (families) and single or couples without children, then you really are not paying attention. When your business caters naturally to the former, you probably should not try to artificially push it towards a group that mostly fits the latter.

This is truly a culture war that could have been avoided. But anytime you push too hard or too fast you will meet resistance. I get that if you never meet resistance, then you might be moving a tad slow, but the sort of uproar you are getting today is because of the fact that the LGBTQ+ community do not appear to be taking their foot off the gas in any situation. Once they get A they immediately demand B. They get B and they immediately demand C. Eventually as you go down the letters of the alphabet you will see more and more resistance until you hit the concept of Satanic Gay Pride T-shirts being sold in a family department store. If you cannot see why that crosses any lines it is because you have no lines.
