Starmer refuses to step down, says that the election caused instability?

“The past 48 hours have been destabilizing for government and that has a real economic cost for our country and for families,”

If this man's approval rating was his age, he would not be allowed in a bar, folks. Rather than resign (after getting massacred in the last election) he blames the electorate for creating destabilization of the economy by voting against his Party. He is truly someone who doesn't get it.

Now I have always been fascinated by how quick people are to call for votes of no-confidence, how many leaders resign before their term is up in these sorts of parliamentary governments. It aways seems like you are a couple of bad news cycles away from seeing your political career end. They are almost too polite about it. "So you take issues with my stance, very well, I guess I will resign". But not Starmer. He is all in about staying all in, even as members of his own cabinet are resigning and calling on him to follow suit.

The truth is that if the UK was still in the EU, then this is probably one of those elections where the EU would have invalidated it, because it doesn't go along with their globalism, open border, shoot ourselves in the face policies that have become mainstays across Europe. But they are not, as much as Starmer tries to behave exactly like they are. They passed the Brexit for a reason, and it is a reason people like Starmer doesn't care for.

Bottom line... Starmer and his policies are a disaster. The people have spoken and he just doesn't care to listen.
