Shortly after Harris decided to challenge Trump with ad buys in Florida the NYT/Sienna poll mocks that concept
They show Trump up 14 points. Now not sure how accurate this is, but I suspect that it might have something to do with how Harris is trying to use their Governor during a crisis as a political tool to make herself look more important. I am not sure who thought this would go over well for her, and why they though people suffering in this situation would like to see things politicized by a Presidential candidate who is playing no part in this what-so-ever. As DeSantis suggested, Kamala Harris has not contacted him once as the Vice President regarding any of the previous hurricane issues that they have dealt with. Why should he suddenly start engaging her now when according to even Joe Biden himself, she is not actively a part of this. She was out raising money in California when the hurricane hit and made no effort at that point to make it a priority. Only after people started criticizing the response, did she make any effort.
Anyways, I don't believe that Florida is really in play, in spite of some polls that were closer than expected. I think that NYT Sienna poll has to be a dagger for those who believed it to be so.
If the House is shutting down it’s gonna be bad
Waffle House, citing the Waffle House Index, closes Tampa locations ahead of Hurricane Milton
I'd like to think it's harder to cheat Cold, but today's democrat party is so brazen and so craven for power, that they'll cheat right out in the open, giving the finger to anyone who notices. And with a cowardly judiciary who will refuse to act due to "lack of standing" there's no recourse when the cheat is patently obvious.
The reaction to Helene and Milton to follow is a direct result of "elections having consequences." Fuck them Trump voters.
I think the cheating is made harder in many states based on recent laws being passed that drives the left crazy. Laws that require paper ballots (for instance) or laws that require poll watchers from both parties. Fulton county got in some hot water for refusing to hire GOP workers. Only like 15% of the workers are GOP, and they passed over well qualified Republicans to hire less qualified Democrats. But at least now they get called on it and some action can be taken. Much of this is just continuing to expose it and scoffing at the attempts to suggest it is about suppressing the vote.
Massive cheating makes the whole thing close. And therein lies the problem. We should know definitive results the very next day, but scumbag shit stains like Marc Elias will keep producing ballots for days.
