Should be dead to rights, but who knows?

Comey obviously did what he is accused of doing, but would have been a stronger case if the statutes of limitations had not passed on so many other things.

I am seeing some mixed ideas about what will happen. Everything from this is a slam dunk case, to this is a weak case that probably backfires. Not sure what to make of it exactly, but I do know that these were not the worst of the charges that could have been brought has someone acted earlier.

The case was not brought in D.C. but rather in Virginia. Most believed that there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell of even getting an indictment if they tried in DC. Virginia as a whole is much better, but Comey appears confident that he will beat this one way or the other. All he needs is one or two Democrats on the jury and he is home free.

Now here's a death worth celebrating -

Assata Shakur, a Black liberation activist who was given political asylum in Cuba after her 1979 escape from a U.S. prison where she had been serving a life sentence for killing a police officer, has died, her daughter and the Cuban government said.

McCabe could be the key as it has been McCabe who has testified that Comey authorized him to leak.

Ultimately it comes down to what can be proven against what can be obscured.

By rights, several former FBI scumbags should hang from a gallows, but the deep state that remains will make sure that never comes to pass.

Never noticed before but his face projects at the same upward arrogant angle as Obama's. They both think they are above us and in some ways they may apparently be.

My prediction -

He walks.

The left is above the law. Always has been, always will be.

James Woods gets it -

I believe he walks as well. They would need to bring in Weisman to repeat what he originally stated, but he has made it so murky now by changing this and that... that it might be impossible. He could also just say he did the leaking himself and didn't get any go-ahead from Comey. He is likely beyond the statute of limitations and reasonable doubt. If he was charged, then Comey could come testify that he told him to do it (as he would be saved by double jeopardy).

On the flip side, did Comey really not approve of any leaking? I would have to take a closer look at the indictment, but it wasn't just one thing if I…
