Relax, calm down, and things that seem to offend certain woman

People have been telling her to calm down her whole life... well perhaps the problem is not the rest of the world, but you.

According to Hope Walz, people are apparently either leaving hate comments or they just want to date her. One or the other.

I have not seen the actual comments (she seems to be posting on TikTok as most liberals do) that she refers to has hate comments, but I suspect they are probably fairly normal political back and forth, which is what you will get if you want to get into on-line politics. Considering your dad was on the losing candidate's Presidential ticket, I would offer that some politics and some hate will continue to come your way as long as you are out there exposing yourself to it on any social media platform. Not understanding that would make you a knucklehead.

On the flip side, I am not sure if anyone is actually "hitting on her" or if she just believes that everyone who responds to her is somehow interested in dating her. You know, the AOC style you just want to date me spin. That being said, with the plain white t-shirt, no hair-style, and limited make up, she seems to be one of those who openly objects to the idea of women glossing themselves up on-line. I have no issue with that what-so-ever, as long as it doesn't come with an attitude.

But all of this gets back to the original point here. Perhaps, it just might be possible, plausible, or even likely that she is getting a bit too worked up over things. She is not just worked up enough to engage with what she refers to as hate comments directly, but she is worked up enough about it to actually post a video in response to all of this. Perhaps she could just not respond to these haters? Ignore them, rather than directly engage? Either way, perhaps some of these people are right and maybe a tiny bit of calming down might be in order. If people have been telling you to calm down your whole life, perhaps you might want to take a hint.

One thing I do give Hope Walz credit for is actually engaging, fighting, and not running away to BlueSky or simply blocking everyone that says something she doesn't like. I give her respect and props to not be like most other liberals her age, just building a giant cocoon around herself to make sure she never gets any hate. Being exposed to this may be hard at first and figuring out how to and when to respond is something you learn over time. I hope she continues to show a bit of courage and maybe some others in her age group will take notice and follow suit. Our country could do with more back and forth and less isolation.
