These trips all took place during the time that Wade was being paid by Georgia to head the Donald Trump "Racketeering case". These are no longer unfounded allegations based on racism. They are legally documented.
On top of all of this, another problem is emerging. There is now suggestions that Willi's threats to prosecute Mrs. Wade for obstruction is a form of witness tampering. It is being seen by many as an obvious attempt to use her office to shut up an inconvenient Georgia citizen because what she has to say will damage Willis.
At this point, many legal analysts are suggesting that both Willis and Wade should probably step down for their own protection, rather than risk the idea that the Georgia state board (or even the Georgia Attorney General office) might look into some of these problems. Generally a state board would probably not want to wade into anything this political, but if this drags out then they might be forced to. That beings said, I don't see Fanni Willis as someone who is going to be willing to throw in the towel at this point. It's clear she feels justified in using her office as a political weapon or to go after personal adversaries (such as her lover's wife).
This is a shit show folks. We have an obvious corrupt "county prosecutor" who is charging a former President and Presidential candidate and many others with "Racketeering" in a county court. She is doing so without any allegations that Trump or most of the people involved broke any specific laws. Yet, she herself appears to have broken several Georgia laws in regards to misusing Georgia tax dollars, corruptly appointing a lover as special counsel, and now possible witness tampering charges. I am quite certain she doesn't see it that way, but if the State Justice Department (run by a Republican) decides to get involved with an investigation or possible charges, then her cozy little Democratic safe haven of Fulton county will do little to protect her.
