Ramaswamy out and endorses Trump

Officially enters the VP sweepstakes

I go back and forth on this guy. The thing I like about him (his obvious superior intelligence) seems to be the same thing that gets him into trouble. He can certainly come across as arrogant to the degree of being condescending.

But certainly there are times when journalists or opposing politicians deserve to be treated in a condescending manner. But that doesn't always fly. Successful Presidents have a way of making you want to sit down and have a beer with them. Ramaswamy feels like the guy who would prefer to play you in chess, just to show you how good he is at it and how you simply cannot compete with his superior mind.

The issue is that Vivek might need to become a little more casual in his confidence and just a little less aloof. Maybe a lot less.

In some ways he reminds me of me when I was younger. I recall a time when I went to the headquarters of the company I was working for and met with all of the executives. I was part of a handful of store managers that they were there because we had been chosen to be in line for a promotion into regional (multi-store) management (which was a big thing). I was told that everyone was impressed with my ideas, my answers to various questions, and everyone had massive respect for my performance as a manager. But I was told I came across as "cavalier" to a couple of the Vice Presidents. Too confident apparently. It didn't side track them from me moving forward into the additional training and giving me the added responsibly of being in charge of multiple stores. But I was told it was something I really needed to work on in order to continue to rise in the company.

I think that this guy could probably work on that as well. The idea of running for President is much more important than becoming a regional manager for a retail chain. But he seems to have the same attitude that he is almost above it all as someone who just is smarter than everyone around him. He may be right, but rubbing it in the faces of everyone is not the best way to make friends and influence people.

Well something died on Jan 6th... I'd say the many of the remaining brain cells of Mr Amick would be part of the list of casualties.

While the Biden Administration frets about how Russia and Iran will react to perceived U.S. escalation, the world’s bad actors keep escalating. Russia has now completed its deployment of tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said late last month. Moscow is now moving ahead on military integration with Minsk. Russia has stationed S-400 surface-to-air and Iskander short-range missiles there. Mr. Putin’s provocative nuclear move in Belarus is a reminder of what’s at stake in Ukraine. Much more information than the lie on January 6th when you're blog died

Sounds like every time my kids get a new phone. I can’t get into gmail, LinkedIn the list is long and illustrious

I don't think I was an asshole. I just did things like call the Executive VP by his first name in front of other people (he had visited my store a couple of months prior and told me to call him Mike but I guess that was just for that visit). I also apparently did not spend as much time as the other four managers running around kissing the rings of everyone. Apparently I was not as nervous and such with the other executives. I treated it less like an interview and more like an exchange of ideas. I thought they liked it at the time... but apparently not! Office politics drove me nuts back then, which is why …
