Let's be clear. A portable smart phone is about 100 times more advanced than a land line phone. That is a given reality that nobody can argue with.

At this point there is no real good reason to believe an electric car is any sort of actual improvement over a gas powered one. The only argument is that it is supposedly better for the environment, and that is not even a proven point. That line of thinking is little more than virtue signaling or is coming from someone gas-lighted into the believe that electricity comes from unicorn farts and fairy dust.
