In spite of a two year special counsel, two indictments, and at least another criminal investigation likely to end with a third indictment for Trump, almost as many voters think Biden is the real criminal between the two. Biden, of course, has not been indicted (and won't be) for any of his alleged misdeeds. but that doesn't seem to matter.
This must be a hard pill for Biden and gang to swallow, as he (of course) has been able to avoid any sort or "official" acknowledgement of any criminal activity. I truly believe that the powers to be feel that Americans still "trust" that our Federal and State law enforcement are fair minded people who would never do anything for political purposes. Most certainly the understanding would be that someone who has been indicted is much more likely the criminal than someone who has not been. But apparently that is simply not the case with a majority of Americans.
But it says a lot about the credibility of our law enforcement when actual criminal indictments are shrugged off by over half of American voters. Apparently voters still look at the "actions" of the people involved, rather than judge them by the "reactions" of law enforcement. Most people understand that Trump did not commit any crimes in New York or Georgia. They also know for a fact that Biden took classified documents (just as Trump did) and probably do not simply distinguish between the two based on who did a better job "cooperating" with the FBI. They probably view the "actions" as similar and don't give a bigger you know what how the FBI feels about the two.
Lastly, there has been a lot of press about Hunter Biden and pretty much anyone with an IQ over room temperature will reject the idea that the plea agreement was all there was to that and that the "big guy" was not involved in anything.
Bottom line. Put me in the camp that believes the $10 million from China and Ukraine that found it's way from a variety of shell companies and into the accounts of the Biden family is enough evidence to suggest criminal activity. That would be called money laundering even as Democrats insist that influence peddling is not criminal. Sometimes it isn't the crime, but the cover up. Certainly these actions are more criminal than paying an attorney's bill or getting into a spat with the FBI over Presidential records.
Just as there are actually similarities between Obama moving hundred of boxes from the White House to a warehouse in Chicago and then the National Archives finding classified documents. The real difference is not the classified docs... but how NARA and the FBI treated the two situations.
If an ex-President having access to classified documents was such a big deal, why was that warehouse not raided and why did the FBI not take all those classified documents? According to NARA, they just put them in a "more secure" location within the warehouse.
("New: There are lots of similarities between what Hunter Biden is accused of and what Paul Manafort went to prison for. Shell companies, unregistered lobbying for Ukraine, suspicious lavish spending. Only the DOJ treatment is different. https://t.co/yITKxob3vu"
