New poll shows Americans now support the bombings, contrary to earlier polling.

Not sure if this is about the pollster or the timing of the poll.

So this is a complete reversal of the snap polling that was taken right after the bombing. At least three different pollsters showed the numbers at around 55-45 against the bombings. One has to wonder if this was the "pollsters" and the manner in which the questions were asked on top of the demographics used, or if this is a timing issue.

Obviously there was a lot of crazy talk about thousands of dead Americans, the bombing leading to WWIII, and then the bad reporting that the mission did not accomplish the goals. I suppose when you were still worried about dead Americans and WWIII starting for something that didn't accomplish anything, then why would you be for it.

Since those polls, there is a ceasefire agreement, there has not been any US casualties (or even any real attacks) and nobody is rushing to Iran's defense here. Meanwhile new (more accurate) reporting from across the globe has undermined the "leaked" CNN report from anonymous sources and most (but not all) now probably believe that the mission was successful.

So it is possible that it could be either or both here. Either way, I believe that this poll here (from Trafalgar and Insider Advantage) is going to more accurately reflect public opinion. They are both more accurate pollsters and they waited long enough for people to have a better informed opinion.
