New Biden campaign strategy same as the old campaign strategy!

Monger fear, call your opponent names, and avoid responsibility for the state of affairs.

Joe Biden is using the January 6th anniversary as a chance to regain lost momentum in the run up to 2024. Of course, there is nothing "new" here. Just another attempt to make the entire 2024 election about the 2020 election and specifically about the post-election antics and most specifically the January 6th rally that went awry. The fact that he went full throttle these attacks is apparently a good thing with those who still cling to the absurd notion that that single day should determine the fate of our country's future.

But the problem here for Joe and those who believe this is a winning strategy is that they have been slowly losing the narrative as it pertains to January 6th. Since the GOP has taken over the House, thousands of hours of tapes from that day have been released and many many Americans have actually taken notice. We now know that there was a full 20 minutes of so called "riot" control that included tear gas and snipers with rubber bullets that took place before anyone actually pushed back.

We see actual video of what was taking place inside the capital which looks nothing like the doctored tapes and narrative delivered to us by the defuncted (and ever-elusive) January 6th commission. We see the same capital officers who are claimed to have been injured during the event walking around without so much as a scratch to be seen. We see people who were declared to be rampaging down the hall screaming about "hanging Mike Pence" actually doing no more than walking orderly doing little more than waving flags and carrying signs as they walked right past calm and collected capital officers who simply watched (or in some cases let them in different areas of the building).

We have seen protesters who were sentenced to real jail time who did little more than walk into and out of the Capital building. There are people whom the prosecutors conceded caused no damage and were not violent at all. When we see these issues on appeal and we read about the manner in which these liberal DC Judges are dismissing these with contempt for Trump supporters in general, the whole thing starts to look like the real problem is not the protesters. It starts to look little more than a Salem style witch hunt where political dissenters are put in jail for months or even years for literally doing no more than just for protesting. We see Judges making rulings that protesting in this fashion "deserved" a year in prison, because they should have known better than to participate in "this" particular protest.

As Nancy Pelosi's own daughter stated in an interview, the entire idea of the commission was to control the narrative long enough so that by the time the GOP came into power and released the truth, that people would largely be set in their opinions. But apparently as time wears on, narratives fade if they cannot be reinforced with evidence, especially when the evidence we do uncover works to undermine that narrative. While there are certainly still millions who believe the lies of the commission (including apparently some Judges in Colorado) there are millions and millions more who never did or no longer do. Without more "evidence" to repute the new "evidence" that is overwhelming the original narrative you have no manner to argue logically.

As lawyers like to say. If the facts are on your side, pound the facts. If the law is on your side, pound the law. If neither is on your side, pound the table. This is where these people are at. Judger or political appointees ruling without legal cause that Trump committed an insurrection or having Joe Biden go all tough guy attack dog is neither pounding facts or the law. They are simply pounding the table, hoping if they pound hard enough it will add credibility to the dying narrative. Hey, if it wasn't true, why is he being disqualified? If it wasn't an insurrection why did a guy go to jail for 14 years for throwing a folding chair? If it wasn't true, then why is the President do damn mad about it?

I think it's a losing argument, but I wonder out loud if they have any better argument to make? They certainly are not going to ask us if we are better off than before or push any morning in America campaigns. They have no choice but to go negative and it appears it will be scorched earth.
