Now Europe is banning puberty blockers

Apparently Europe is creating hateful anti-LGBTQ+ laws

The momentum appears to be growing, at least in Europe. Just last week, Norway announced that medical intervention for transgender minors would be halted except for the purposes of clinical trials. Now the National Health Service in England has made an almost identical announcement. They are specifically calling out the prescription of puberty blockers for trans youths. Similar to Norway, they are saying that more research is required into the “potential benefits and harms” resulting from the administration of these drugs to children. They also announced that a new clinical trial to determine these matters will begin by next year. If someone could forward this to the American Pediatric Association and the AMA, I’d appreciate it. The hard reality here is that puberty blockers are not FDA approved in the United States for use with children suffering from gender dysphoria. The doctors have been using a non-FDA approved drug that comes with a significant (if not overwhelming) risk of infertility, even as these doctors claim the drug is safe and completely reversable. This is pure dishonestly, even if the doctors are claiming to be helping the children.

We now have 19 states that are in line with Europe in banning these types of treatments. We have several other states with laws moving through the pipeline. These states (of course) are deemed to be anti-LBGTQ+ by American liberal activists who apparently have nothing in their arsenal other than labelling and hating on those who disagree with their extreme positions. Why the US does not have a Federal ban (as Europe is moving towards) tells us exactly how powerful this small minority of people within the Democratic Party.

Today we saw another poll (this time from Gallup) that shows support for Transgenders competing with their "preferred" gender dropping by 15 points. The overwhelming percentage of Americans believe that everyone should compete with their biological counterparts. Yet, the Democrats continue to push for the opposite and the Biden Administration is looking at using Executive Actions to accomplish these goals.
