Called up by Governor Walz to deliver donuts and coffee to the Agitators?

HAPPENING NOW : MN National Guard members have arrived at the site of the federal building, and have been ordered to distribute donuts, coffee and hot chocolate to anti-ice protestors. They were given reflective vests so protestors don’t confuse them with federal agents.

My brother was part of the Minnesota National Guard and suggested that any actual combat or military work was well beyond their expertise. After the initial boot camp, they did very little actual military training. He stated that the weekends were a joke and sometimes the only time they actually did anything having to do with training was the two weeks out of the year they were sent somewhere to do so. This is not a force capable of doing much more than assisting people, so I suppose delivering donuts and hot cocoa to the insurrection is about the best that could be expected.
