Minneapolis Police allowing Citizen checkpoints to be set up on city streets.

This would be blatantly unconstitutional for law enforcement to do this for any extended amount of time, much less common citizens stopping other citizens?

Just in case anyone misses "CHOP" where crime was rampant and people were shot and killed in the Capital Hill area of Seattle... Minneapolis is attempting to start something similar. Just like in Seattle, the local police are not being allowed to do anything about it. Now I say they are not being allowed to do anything about it, because apparently local police are open about the fact that they would like to do something about it, but they are being called of by the politicians.
So they are blocking off areas and neighborhoods and not allowing anyone into those areas unless they go through their checkpoint. They are checking licenses and such to make sure the vehicles are not associated with the Department of Homeland Security. Now my question is what exactly would they do if ICE did happen to want to get passed one of these checkpoints. Are they planning an armed confrontation with Federal law enforcement?
I am a bit surprised the Homan is allowing agents to leave Minnesota while this is still going on. I understand that they are giving better access to jails and prisons, but when the Minneapolis Police Department is complaining that the Mayor and Governor are not allowing them to go into these areas and arrest people, I would think that would be a concern. Of course, perhaps these areas are completely irrelevant to ICE and the idea is no harm, no foul. Could just be Minnesota thugs bugging Minnesota citizens. Then I suppose it would be of no concern.
If I lived there and was stopped by one of these marxist fucktards, this would be my view of the idiot stupid enough to try and detain me:
