Michele Tafoya launches Senate bid in Minnesota!

She has name recognition, she knows football, and she has a likability factor.

She got her start on KFAN the local sports channel and was part of the team that announced the Vikings games. She then moved on to the Midwest Sports Channel where she was an announcer for the T-Wolves. She was also a local radio host for WCCO, securing the coveted afternoon drive time slot. She was a long time popular Minnesota journalist. Oh, and an attractive woman to boot!

Of course, she is probably most well known nationally as a sideline reporter for the NFL, working for CBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN... well pretty much everyone at one time or another. But here roots are in Minnesota. The sad part about all of this, is as loved as she always was in Minnesota, the Minnesota left will likely dig hard on this one and try to slime her with everything they can throw at her. We'll see what her closet looks like in terms of skeletons. If there is anything there, they will come out.

Can she win? Well there is one Senate seat for sure and if Klobuchar runs for Governor (as many believe she will) then there will be two seats. Perhaps some Minnesotans might be open to a split ticket and if there is someone they may vote for (especially your ALWF crowd) it might be a strong woman who has made it on her own?
