Media complicit as Harris tries hard to run away from herself

Pointing out what she has stood for in the past is akin to a smear campaign.

Biden’s July 21 decision to exit the race and endorse the vice president turned that stream of hostility into a torrent. Within hours, far-right forums were awash in vitriol aimed at almost every aspect of Harris’s identity, mounting what analysts call a smear campaign led by the most intolerant — and menacing — elements of Donald Trump’s MAGA universe.

This sort of statement is pretty much a caricature of a slanted media, yet it came directly from the former news organization Washington Post. No longer interested in reporting the news, the propaganda paper has decided that to not allow Kamala Harris to reinvent herself moving forward is a right-wing smear. We currently have most of the legacy media demanding that her own quotes are "false" and why not? They have literally been able to change reality in the eyes of many of their faithful followers. Whether it be Russian collusion or January 6th, they can count on the sheep to keep their eyes closed at all times other than when they are listening to the propaganda.

But watch them jump all over the claim that during an interview that JD Vance completely endorsed Project 2025 and that Donald Trump could no longer "ironically" run away from it? Of course, the person who actually did the interview pointed out that not only did Vance not endorse Project 2025 in the interview, and not only was Project 2025 never mentioned, but the interview took place prior to Project 2025 even existing. What Vance was promoting is the reality that liberals have taken over academia, that they have taken over big business, and that inner working of our federal agencies are run almost exclusively by private citizen liberals. This makes fighting for conservatism an uphill battle and eventually requires an overhaul at some level. Whether that is parent led lawsuits against schools, investor or consumer boycotts against liberal big businesses, or more court rulings such as the one that overturned the Chevron precedent. The idea that Vance might share some of the same beliefs as a conservative think tank is not an endorsement of everything that a think tank believes.

But hey, such is the thinking in the liberal world these days. It is unfair to hold Harris accountable for what she says. But it is more than fair to attach things to Trump and Vance that they have never themselves stated. Because anything that harms a Democrat is by nature evil by nature and anything that harms a Republican is righteous by nature. Once you understand that basic concept, the rest becomes simple.
