McCarthy Out? Now what?

8 Republicans and all of the Democrats voted to out McCarthy...

So apparently you vote with the all of the Democrats to oust the GOP leadership and you still believe you are looking out for the will of the Republican conservative voter?

Obviously this is a pissing contest and who knows what ends up happening next. But quite obviously Gaetz and his gang do not have enough GOP support to get anyone tougher voted through. Not unless they get Democrats to join them on their choice (whoever that happens to be).

I sort of disagree with both McCarthy and the GOP leadership as it came to the shut down. I believe that they simply punted when they should have made a stand one way or another. But to toss him out with no real plan to replace him? Seems sort of short sighted and why many people feel that the GOP cannot stop shooting itself in the foot.
