Liberal Judge hiding Tren de Aragua gang member is now a metaphor for 2025 liberals in general.

This has become sort of typical, hasn't it?

The New Mexico Supreme Court permanently banned former Judge Jose 'Joel' Cano from judicial office after an alleged Tren de Aragua gang member was arrested at his residence.
Cano, a Democrat who had served on the bench since 2011, had previously written a letter of resignation within days of 23-year-old Cristhian Ortega-Lopez's arrest at a small home owned by him and his wife, Nancy.
The fact that this has not been overwhelmingly and universally condemned is an issue. This was not an honest undocumented man hiding because he was falsely being persecuted. This was a man who openly a gang member and had openly committed criminal acts by no less than a judge. If we cannot even pretend any more than judges believe in the rule of law, then where are we at as a country and where are we at with our judicial system.
But yet, hardly anyone at the national Democratic level is condemning this and they cannot play it off as an independent judicial issue. This was a Democrat who was elected as a Democrat in a state that elects (rather than appoints) this sort of judge. The fact that our citizens anywhere would elect something like this is even more troubling.
Yes, they banned him for this as they should. But there are still a lot of people out there doing the yeah but thing when it comes to this situation. Why would people not want to deport these gang members? I have no idea. But it is the Democratic party these days.

Shouldn't you at least put your dentures in when you're on the bench in court?
