Latest scandal from the Biden administration sure to be ignored by the press.

Kash Patel and Susie Wiles not only had their phones tapped, but the FBI listened in on conversations between Wiles and her attorney.

Now, everyone on the left understands that Biden was squeaky clean and that Trump is the most horrific creature to ever encroach upon the White House. But much of that is nonsense, disinformation, cognitive dissonance, and a dozen other adjectives and adverbs. The reality is that not only was Biden and Democrats as a whole engrossed with corruption, but they seemed to be openly in favor of corruption and in favor of covering it up as much as possible (see the Minnesota corruption scandal). I think it is fair to say that the Biden administration (as it pertains to going after their political enemies while denying that they are doing so) was the worst of the worst. They are making Tricky Dick Nixon blush from his grave.

Now, Trump certainly has turned the tables and is doing some of the same. People will point to the fact that he is firing these people for what they did as political retribution, which is at least partially true. But it is also true that these sort of people deserved to be fired if they engaged in what is likely illegal behavior, and most certainly unethical behavior. To suggest that it is okay for an agent to follow along with something that appears illegal or unethical because they are told to, is not a very good legal or logical argument.

Lastly, this story had a twist. Apparently an attorney for Wiles actually consented to the FBI recording and listening in on a conversation with Wiles, while Wiles had no idea she was being recorded. I would be shocked if this attorney is not disbarred for this. Not sure if it is actually illegal, but we know if violates every aspect of the attorney client privilege.

It is beyond obvious that these people believed that they would get away with all of this, because they believed they would always hold the power here. They never really considered that Trump might actually come out on the other side of this as President of the United States again. Now they are seeing the retribution and it is more than well-deserved.

The attorney of Wiles is denying that the FBI was given consent to listen in on this conversation. Apparently Wiles believes the attorney, not the FBI.
