Latest odds - Harris down to 12% and Newsom down to 9% to win nomination

The Democratic party faithful have come to the troubling conclusion that there are no better options for Democrats and are insisting that Biden is their man.

Well... this is another fine mess the Democrats have gotten themselves into.

After much hand-wringing and such, it would appear that not only are high ranking Democrat officials all in on Joe Biden, there was even some suggestion that they move the nomination process up just to put the questions to rest.

Sure! Nothing calms the public more than making sure that an 81 year old man who should be living in an senior assisted living community (not the White House) is made the nominee sooner rather than later.

But I called this.

I figured it would just take a bit of time for the Democrats to move back to the reality that they have no good candidates to take over and that if they opened the nomination up at this point that things would quickly slide into chaos. If there truly was a knight in shining armor waiting in the wings, then things might be different. But every possible replacement has serious warts and very little time to get up to speed.

As pointed out by many, the only candidate that would qualify to take over Joe Biden's campaign funding stash is Kamala Harris as she is on the ticket. Everyone else would have to start over from scratch and would have to make up hundreds of millions in a very short period of time. Both candidate have already raised nearly 400 million dollars and both candidates have over 100 million cash on hand. That would be effectively lost if Biden were to step down and anyone other than Harris was to take over.

Watch for the same members of the media who demanded Joe Biden step down slowly but surely make their way back to his camp. Already we have seen media suggestions that Joe Biden looked so alert and competent during his four minute teleprompter reading where he chastised the Supreme Court for their Presidential immunity ruling. The debate was "just a bad day" will likely become the mantra and we can expect that they will gush over Joe's ability to walk from here to there without falling over and defend as they always have. In other words, once it is clear that Biden is the man, look for things in the left wing media to simply go back to where they were pre-debate.

Lastly I would be surprised if the Biden camp decides to follow through with the September debate (unless of course he is so far behind that they have nothing to lose). I believe that criticism of Biden possibly being pumped up with drugs during the SOTU was what prompted Biden to "not" be pumped up on drugs during the debate. Maybe they will decide that crazy angry get off my lawn old man would be a better option than crazy where did my lawn go old man we saw last week. But either way, they cannot afford that sort of disaster a second time.

If I’d thought ahead and had storage locker I could’ve built a home theatre using seats from all the stadiums Atlnata has dropped. Old ATL- Fulton county, the Ga Dome now Mercedes Benz, the old Omni now State Farm Arena
