Mark Meadows given immunity from Jack Smith to testify? Immunity from what?

Here is the kicker of this particular story that seems to go somewhat unnoticed by many. Mark Meadows was not a target in the Jack Smith election case. Let that sink in.

In other words, he was not being charged with any crimes. His so called immunity deal would apparently just protect him from any charges for what he might testify to. Immunity from perjury or what exactly? He certainly isn't going to testify that he broke any laws.

This goes right back to a similar concept with the Georgia case. You do not have much leverage over a witness if there is no threat of any criminal charges. When you give someone immunity it is generally because they were in on the criminal activity. You get someone who otherwise would have been charged, then you give them a get out of jail free card for becoming the rat.

Now the buzz is that Meadows is going to testify that he told Trump that his election fraud allegations were untrue. Well, Mark... get in line. Lot's of people told Trump that. Lot's of people told the public this. But yet, Trump and about 150 million Americans do not believe that you are the expert that you think you are. And it is not illegal for one American to not simply believe another American's opinion on something.

But don't tell the media that... that wouldn't be nearly as interesting!

Ahhhh.. sarcasm.

I guess I really don't know enough about Norm to know for sure. But that makes more sense that it is supposed to be sarcasm.

Both of the election fraud cases are sort of built the same way... both have some underlying low level murky sort of crimes that they are alleging, but ultimately they lose the day if all they get are a few people pleading out to probation and fines on misdemeanors that do not specifically involve the President.

It's still politicizing law enforcement. Just not doing it very well at this point.

Norm was one of the best. Got kicked off SNL because he was making fun of OJ and the owner of the network was a big OJ fan. His takes were hilarious.

Poor, poor alky.

Sitting there, locked down in his psychiatric ward, watching another "WE REALLY GOT HIM THIS TIME, THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN, BOMBSHELL!!!" turn to complete shit.
