Kilmar Abrego-Garcia is coming back to US to face criminal charges!!

So he will basically just be moving from one prison to another.

I think you sort of had to see this one coming. The indictment was under seal and they have been just waiting for the right time to pull this one off. Now they can tell the Judge that he is coming back to the United States, where he will promptly be locked up pending a class E felony trial. I guess all is well that ends well, and Democrats can be super happy that the Maryland dad is coming back to the United States.

I am sort of guessing that Kilmar wishes that he could just stay in El Salvador where he would have likely been released and been free to start a life. As it stands, he will likely do prison time and there is little chance that as a felon that he will be allowed to stay in the country after he gets out of jail. The other option is for him to be deported (rather than jailed) which may end up being the plea agreement when things are all said and done. In my humble opinion, I think he should do the jail time and the cop who let him go with a warning needs to be fired.
